Photo credit; David SamskyA graduate of the College of William & Mary, Cindy was raised in Alexandria, VA; a stones throw from Mount Vernon…the home of George Washington.  She was involved in the Punk Rock scene in the DC area in the 1980’s and as been a fan of History and Science Fiction as long as she can remember; first cosplaying Star Trek TOS before she was even in Kindergarten.  She is an accomplished Cosplayer with unparalleled taste in Cosplay Fashion.  Her knowledge of Harry Potter is truly frightening and she is also a voracious reader, consuming the written word as the rest of humanity consumes Oxygen.

Cindy is also a published author, having multiple stories printed in the Dreams of Steam Anthologies.


William E. MacLeod

William in TuxWilliam’s history is dynamic.  Paramedic, Soldier, Artist, Musician, IT Professional, Fabricator, Businessman, Freemason.  He was the Chairman for the first six years of AnachroCon but decided to focus more on the operations of the convention because he can be rather grumpy in public.  His passions include Cosplay, Science Fiction, History, Sacred Geometry, Music, Fabrication, Theoretical Physics, Space Travel, Classic Cars and persuit of the true meaning of life.  He holds a degree in Information Technology with a minor in International Business.  He attended the University of North Alabama, first pursuing a degree in Music Education with an emphasis on Voice, Piano and Trumpet.

 


Charles H. Strobel

20046_263037796465_638206465_3857688_6771603_nRenaissance Man, Charlie Strobel.  If there is good Scotch and a fine cigar, Charlie will be there.  Well versed in many areas of Science Fiction, History and Kilts; his passion is making sure that people enjoy themselves.  He is a fixture of the Stone Mountain Highland Games and is known for his hospitality, donating his time to make some of the finest Bloody Mary cocktails in the South-Eastern United States.  A master of stimulating conversation, his ideas were important during the initial formation of AnachroCon and is well remembered for saying, “All we need is a venue!”
